I just had another weekend of pure awesomeness! It has been a string of travel weekends for me and last weekend was no exception. So here’s how I got lucky -again: Junelle was given an invitation by Ma’am Pearl Lena which she relayed to us in our Iloilo Bloggers Inc. group page on Facebook. It was an invitation from the Iloilo City Hall Press Corp for 2 bloggers to join them in ICHPC’s Lakbay Aral with DOT on June 18-20, 2011. Since no one was available – except me and Junnjun of GigsIlonggo) – that’s how we got lucky! :D

Manila, Kabankalan, Bacolod Weekend

Last June 4th to 6th I had one of my most exciting weekends ever! Just sharing my photos here. We had lunch at Rack’s with Ms. Janette Toral at Racks (SM City North Edsa). We checked out the mall then chilled out at Krispy Kreme before going to Quezon City Circle to meet with my cousin Jinky. After that we went to Bonifacio High Street to meet with Monica. Had dinner at Gerry’s Grill and coffee at The Coffee Bean. That was a super packed weekend! It was nice catching up with some of the most important people in my life.

I am finally posting my final list for the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2011! Its actually the 5th year of this writing project by Influential Blogger’s Ms. Janette Toral that seeks in identifying new and emerging blogs who are making an impact to their readers every year. I learned about the launching of this writing project when Tim and I met with Ms. J last June 4th in Manila. I am so excited to know who the top 10 emerging influential bloggers for this year are!

Join Tibiao Fish Spa’s FISHtastic Photo Contest

I am an avid fan of Tibiao Fish Spa. In fact everytime I have friends/visitors/family members who are visiting Iloilo I always take them to TFS’s branch at SM City Iloilo.

It has always been my dream to go to Tibiao Fish Spa’s main branch located at – of course – Tibiao, Antique. But I have never found the time to schedule our trip there. My summer has been really busy  – what with work and my frequent weekend trips and school – so I have never been able to fit the Tibiao trip in my schedule. But I resolve to go to TFS Tibiao before the year ends!
