Haven’t gotten over Twilight yet. Here’s one of my favorite songs featured in the movie. Hope you like listening to it like I do. It has really weird lyrics though but try to see through it to know what all of it means. Watched Twilight again with Monica yesterday afternoon (sigh).

Flightless Bird American Mouth

I was a quick wet boy, diving too deep for coins
All of your street light eyes wide on my plastic toys
Then when the cops closed the fair, I cut my long baby hair
Stole me a dog-eared map and called for you everywhere

Have I found you
Flightless bird, jealous, weeping or lost you, american mouth
Big pill looming

Now I’m a fat house cat
Nursing my sore blunt tongue
Watching the warm poison rats curl through the wide fence cracks
Pissing on magazine photos
Those fishing lures thrown in the cold
And clean blood of Christ mountain stream

Have I found you
Flightless bird, grounded, bleeding or lost you, american mouth

Big pill stuck going down

    Hey Jinky!

It’s a great song right? Makes you fall in love all over again. At least that’s how it makes me feel. Hehehe. Anyway I liked this song the first time I heard it (which was in the movie) so I searched for it online and posted it here. Hope you enjoy listening to it at Last FM too! :)

This is the first song off the movie that I first liked. The rest just grew on me. Very melancholic.
